Acrobat PR is led by Simon Peevers, a journalist with ten years’ experience working in Bristol and the South West.

Simon was at the Bristol Evening Post from 2001 until March 2009 when left as assistant news editor. During his time on news desk he led the news team on a number of important news stories, such as the fire at Weston Grand Pier in the summer of 2008, and the police operation to arrest a suspected suicide bomber in Bristol.

Simon began his career as a general news reporter on the Western Gazette in Somerset in 1999. He moved to the Evening Post two years later where he went on to become an investigative journalist as well as news features writer, before being promoted to news desk in January 2008.

He has also worked shifts on the Sunday Times, Daily Mirror, London Evening Standard and the Western Daily Press.
